Alex,
Actually, it was a 7 x 7 ending that Shane had a win on the board.
All the best,
Mac

Re: Results after 4rds (Nationals)
Hello Alex, It is true that Lubablo Kondlo has not lost a game but Ron King showed Shane where he missed a win in a 5 x 5 ending. If Shane had won this ending he would have been tied for lead. Jim Loy has done a great job of putting Elbert Lowders games in a book with annotations. I bought 3 of thes...

Championship Matches
Once Marion Tinsley was scheduled to play in a championship match and the purse was just $100 below what he thought he should get and Marion said he wouldn't play unless the $10,000 purse was guaranteed. I donated the last $100 so match could be played. I asked Marion about this later as $100 didn't...

The Twilight Zone Opening.
Hello Ed, Thanks for the play on the "Double Cross" and "The Twilight Zone". Ed, in 1996 Bob Podoff from New York and I worked on this 6-9 defense of the Twilight Zone and we developed over 2,000 variations on this defense. At that time I also thought that 6-9 would draw, however...
