That is a good idea, the game is so complex that it does a lack some instructions....
I hope you enjoy the game !!

Re: Checkers game on Xbox360
It is amazing how many people, think that the jump rule is not a real rule or they are surprised when they are forced to jump.
I have had so many requests to NOT enforce the jump rule, but in reality people would hate the alternative....

Re: Checkers game on Xbox360
The AI won't allow a draw right now, that's a future UPDATE issue. The DRAW system will be
implemented. The AI might dodge you forever, so you can either rage quit, or you can lower the
difficulty to make him mess up

Re: Checkers game on Xbox360
Definitely is possible in the next UPDATE. When I get lost really bad I reload....but there is a character that will help you when you get lost....(Creaky) Also yes the Draw Mode I have the code to implement it.....it would be awesome, I need to see if the fan base gets large enough to put that in....

BLOODYCHECKERS Wow, well a lot of xbox360 gamers are really starting to enjoy checkers....almost against their will. :) It seems so far that once people try the demo, they buy the game....and really get into the whole checkers thing. Then, they realize how hard the game can actually be......A new up...

Re: Books On checkers
Yeah,
The positions, (meaning) the diagram is completely wrong. It seems that there are errors in this
printing of this book, which is really a bummer. I think that in this library copy there may be errors
in the printing of the diagrams....

Re: Books On checkers
One error for sure I believe I found. "PLAY WINNING CHECKERS" by Robert Pike On page 86 see DIAGRAM 64 the solution does not make any sense to me..... Solution is on page 101 for DIAGRAM 64 and does not seem to match the schematic. I thought there was another diagram error, but I cannot se...

Re: Books On checkers
ERROR FOUND !! See Diagram 64 in his book on page 86 !! It was a book on loan from the Library, it was Robert Pike I believe....I was programming-in the board setups and then the solution of moves. In 2 situations, the computer found a different way around Mr. Pikes outcome....In 1 situation I think...

Re: Books On checkers
I read a checkers book that was a "Mensa" book on checkers....and I have to say a couple of the patterns or lessons were flat out wrong or not solvable...I coded a lot of the board setups into my computer and the results were not what was predicted (only on a couple setups). I was surprise...

Re: Best way to handle a Tie or Stalemate
Hey, thanks a lot. I appreciate all good comments.....very inspiring. BloodyCheckers - The game also has...and I am not sure what to call it....a "training" section, or a "simulation room" where you can be taught some basic checker moves. You start out in the middle of the game.....

Re: Best way to handle a Tie or Stalemate
There will always be cheaters !! I cannot stop this....anyone could "Mirror" your moves through a computer checkers game and win. I wish I knew of a way to stop cheaters...but this is why I put in a rage quit option....of flipping the board over !! So, there are numerous ways to vent your ...
