I found the discussion, it was through the mail list, tried the WordPress, its kind of CRM, thousands of files in hundreds of directories. Likely good for non-programmers, I on the other hand, pride myself on writing exact code, can anyone suggest the best tools, I used Visual Studio, but it now off...

Last month there was a discussion about the new USA Checkers website, with recommendations to use the WordPress, where can I find that discussion?

Kaplan's books are for the Pool checkers, not the Straight checkers.

I visited Gerry some 20 years ago, was very impressed by his library, many rare books. He gave me a couple books, I passed them on to other players.

I often say that donating to libraries is counter-productive, 99% of players will never visit the library, chances are that the library will box the collection after a while or get rid of it to make room. If only they scan the books and make them available to all online!

It was fun to create solutions in algebraic notation, its possible to trick Aurora into it.

I recall reading that John G. White donated chess books and someone else joined the trust adding checkers books. Do you know who it was, maybe a link to read?

I have seen very distinctive covers for Morris-Systems Checkerist magazine, now got a pleasure of holding one issue in my hand.

In 7 years the "Online checkers library" thread had 400 posts and 80,000 views, likely the most viewed thread on the forum.

In 2019 the library started receiving ACF bulletins directly from ACF, seems logical to be posted, why else send? By that time the ACF Bulletins section was already closed, so the issues stayed on for about a month in the New Arrivals section.

I do not have any of the three but have the first 1905 match
