The Checker Maven webzine observes its 5th publication anniversary on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Many thanks to the thousands of readers who have made the effort worthwhile and possible.
The weekly column features a new work of checker fiction, a 3,000 word short story which I hope you will enjoy.
Again, many thanks to each and every one of you for your support over the past five years. Here's to, G-d willing, the next five!

Bob,
The Checker Maven is special, it just keeps getting better with time. I'll be looking forward to sitting down at my computer each and every Satruday for the next 5 years and beyond. WOW how good could that get?
Congrats..."Pal"
