Post by Patrick Parker »

Please send all tournament info to
patrickhasfun@gmail.com....or email for mailing address

I would like to send anyone interested ... the format I like the tournaments to be in if you arent familiar its the same as we do for WCDF
As long as everything goes smoothly the process of catching up on the ACF ratings is about to begin....
If your tournament was since 1-2008 and the crosstable isnt on jrs website
email it to me...

2009 Connecticut GAYP State Tournament doesn't exist. Allegedly it was thrown away after the tournament. What is on NC website is all there is.

You've done most of the work. Patrick sent me a file 2 weeks ago and before I had changed my code to read his file, he's sent 2 more ratings updates. Plus one more this morning.

The ratings are currently updated through the 2008 Greensboro tournament.
Also note that some players have a last year played of 2010, but their rating is reflective only through the 2008 Greensboro tournament.

I'll update the "rated tournaments" list this weekend. I'm traveling today so I don't know if I can get to it until at least tomorrow.

Patrick, many thanks for update and tremendous efforts and work. I really appreciate it.

But you cutted off at maximum worse time for me  - after IL 2008, when I lost 2 rounds in row to Richard Beckwith and Larry Keen ! Keep going  We need updated ACF ratings until National in August.

Also many thanks to Jason. You both, boys, are my heroes.
I am playing checkers, not chess.

i noticed in another thread the talk of who
should get the label of grandmaster...in the process i use
people are able to attain the rank of permanent master
which influences the formula in the ratings
here are a list of those players who have attained 2400 in acf ratings

i may have missed someone...some are old ratings, some i have borrowed from wcdf since we had no acf rating for them also

Richard beckwith 2404
Bruch Ed 2505
Hugh Burton* 2406
Couch Louis 2495
cronin sean 2400*
docherty william 2500
durdyev mustafa, bagtyar 2450,2488
Lindus Edwards
francs jack 2409
hallet richard 2538
king ron 2656
lubablo kondlo 2521
laverty tim 2413
levitt leo 2501
margolin joseph* 2438
moiseyev alex 2651
wexler norm* 2494

*have not met full minimum
