Pat Chu has known about this problem for a very long time (years). I have corresponded with him about his site (he contacted me after he read my some critical comments in my review of the site). He told me he is a "one man band" at present with no other staff. He appears to be only holding his ground as far as site maintenance. So I don't think he is going to fix this.
Still it's worth asking; maybe enough input will get some attention after all.
