Checkers game on Xbox360

Some people may support this, while others may not like this idea.

On Wednesday, June 22nd a game of checkers is being released on the xbox360 market under Indie games.
This game will have 20 NPC's to play in story mode, easy to very challenging, and online it will have the
capability to play checkers with anyone in the world.

Since the game cannot be "Free" on the Xbox360, it will be sold for only 1 dollar. There is a trailer on youtube, and
other sites by the name "BloodyCheckers". Although the game follows all the standard rules of checkers, it does have
a lot of distraction and "frosting" added to make it more graphic.

As far as I know there has never really been an online checkers game for the xbox360, maybe "one" but was not
done very well. I am not sure how this game will be received.

Haha, that's what I meant.... It's all good Any attempt to increase interest in Checkers is a good thing.

BLOODYCHECKERS

Wow, well a lot of xbox360 gamers are really starting to enjoy checkers....almost against their will.

It seems so far that once people try the demo, they buy the game....and really get into the whole checkers thing.

Then, they realize how hard the game can actually be......A new update is coming out tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah or a map you can equip that shows your position because i kept getting lost which was pissin me off. I was in the catacombs and id get deep in there and then an earthquake would blow out my candle and it literally took me over a half an hour just to find my way back to the torch to re-light. at least have a way to buy a lighter so I can light my own torch haha.

Definitely is possible in the next UPDATE. When I get lost really bad I reload....but there is a character that will
help you when you get lost....(Creaky)

Also yes the Draw Mode I have the code to implement it.....it would be awesome, I need to see if the fan base gets
large enough to put that in....

The AI won't allow a draw right now, that's a future UPDATE issue. The DRAW system will be
implemented. The AI might dodge you forever, so you can either rage quit, or you can lower the
difficulty to make him mess up

It is amazing how many people, think that the jump rule is not a real rule or they are surprised when they are forced to jump.
I have had so many requests to NOT enforce the jump rule, but in reality people would hate the alternative....

Hey Kilroyfx,
My son has downloaded the game yesterday...I have not had the chance to look at it yet, but I will.
Perhaps you should somewhere at the outset place a notation that the rules are those of the American, or English, version of the game...
where it quite simply would state that..."All jumps MUST be completed".....

That is a good idea, the game is so complex that it does a lack some instructions....
