I would like to know if this Chee character is even a member of the ACF.

I think he deserves to be banned.

I am considering running for ACF President and would like some feedback from real players and members of the ACF.

If I do run and win, I promise a stop to this kind behaviour on any ACF affiliate site.

Best regards,

You guys made me a day ! I just read all this tread and had alot of fun of it :D

Chee, you have to extend your list of titles from International Grandmaster to World Chanpion and Universe Champion.

Does anyone from another planet and galaxy ever visited Kurnik ? If not - shame on them !

Alex

I second that, Wayne, and would be honored to run as your vice president.
You both have my support.

This is certainly in no way meant to denigrate the current ACF leadership; it's a hard and thankless volunteer job; a real example of damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don't. You probably can't win no matter what you do.

And, of course, it's not just Chee who is out of line; his juvenile, foul-mouthed posturings would be pretty funny if they weren't so public (or were at least presented on a public Forum other than this one). There are more serious issues.

I have been less than pleased with Federation response ever since those two guys (and you know who they were) were allowed to post on this public Forum for the world to read, unsubstantiated allegations of cheating, lying and conspiracy against the Ellison brothers (and, by extension, against Roger Doll and the entire ICA).

In my opinion, this was a nasty, low, and malicious act designed to hurt people (which it did) through innuendo, anecdote, allusion, illusion and intimidation...there was no proof...it is significant that one of the original posters even called the allegations "unprovable" (and more than once, I think). So why were the accusations allowed to be publically posted in the first place on the ACF Forum?

And there was not a word of even mild protest from the Federation.

And, of course, no sort of apologies have been forthcoming.

I may be (in Chee's quite charming phrase) an "old backward fart" (sigh) but stuff like this really bothers me; it was simply not right.

I do not know the Ellisons, have never met them, but they deserved better than this from ACF members and the Federation itself.

There you have it.

V/R Always,

Gary Jenkins/Jaguar72

Well said Gary

The Ellisons are very upstanding and fine men, who have been hurt very much.

They do deserve respect for all the years they have labored in checkers.

And I'm not an "old backward fart" either, Sunshine, so I guess we're even.

No, only the "old" part and that's all relative anyway...besides, you'll probably arrive there yourself someday; all your life is just pointed at it, lad, like everybody else on the globe.

There you have it.

Yes, I like to play online games as well as real games and even do it still better than some others on both sides of barricade. I also think Suki can handle well mouse play if he desires.

Banning me is like cut a tree where you are sitting on  ... or in other words - banning me means ban checkers, because It's the same and I am last professional checkers player in the world.

Maybe some day when all good strong players pass away, i turn off hte light close the door silently and leave.

Good luck !

I am not much insulted with Chee posts because I don't take them too serious. Online play is online, real play is real - two completely different things with only one thing in common - same champion

Alex

Chee, I have to agree with Wayne on this issue if people dont wish to be on that list they have a right not to be. Besides what system does it stem from you make it look so official why dont you just say this is my opinion list. You use terms of "tapped out" "in training" "heavy weight division" this is not the UFC its checkers online. Alot of online players are my friends but I also agree to diffrent phrases to be used. First off the word Rape should never be used in checkers. Im not saying the skill level is bad but online playing should have the same kinda class as tournament playing. Chee if you ever come to a tournament you need to do alot of changing. But we are still friends just take things into consideration.
