21st Century Checkers 9-14s Available on Sept 10

Post by chipschap »

I am pleased to announce that the second volume of Grandmaster Richard Pask's "21st Century Checkers" series, on the 9-14s, will be available on my website as of Saturday morning, September 10, 2011:

This new work is of course free of charge. My thanks to Mr. Pask for the privilege of continuing to host his publications.

The book is 88 letter-sized pages, formatted to hopefully print properly on either letter or A4 paper. The book makes extensive and effective use of color, and printed copies would best be made on a color printer. You may be best advised to print this at home, as color printing at a commercial shop such as FedEx Office is staggeringly expensive.

Side note: to respond to those who have asked, I still plan to reissue Mr. Pask's "Solid Checkers" but the work has slowed due to my eye problems. However, I am still optimistic about a 2012 release date. There will definitely be an electronic edition, with some possibility of a print edition.
