Re: Madisonville Checkers Club
Thanks JR and Alex for the postings concerning our Madisonville, TN club. By the way, we are always looking for new members for our club. Madisonville is located about half way between Knoxville and Chattanooga just off I-75 and we would welcome anyone in this area as a new member. Of course, if you are just passing through, you will always be welcome to come play with us.

yes, I thought about this option and am pretty sure - it will be interesting and attractive.
What we can do here, in Columbus - some day (Thursday, but not this Thursday Feb 16 !) I can go to your appartment or we can sit in cafe and while I play with Madison Club members (or other clubs) you can record it.
This is just minimum realistical efforts to bring this idea to life.
I like your idea !

Re: Madisonville Checkers Club
Thanks to everyone who took time and joined a party - it was fun for all of us. Before we started playing, my dinner was ready and I was about begin eating but ... it was a prone call and anything else rather then checkers were putted on waiting list.
Hence!, they were in McDonalds at the moment ... maybe I should go to Wendy next time on Thursday when we play.
I am not completely satisfy with course of game because when I had a strong side of opening, my opponents almost reached a drawn land and failed in the ending. I think I played this game too softly, unrisky and conservative and was almost punished for this.
The most important thing is - ... I perfectly understand that if I lose the game - it will be a history and I didn't want to be a part of such history !
Two important moments in the game.
#1 Red to move. _______________ #2 Red to move.
...
#1. Club team played here 14-18 with following another trade 18-23 which gave me slight better ending. Instead, they can pitch it by 13-17 xx 16-19, or 9-14 and then 14-18 - this would be easy
#2. Most critical moment ... 13-17? as played in the game loses indeed
