Running for ACF Treasury Officer in 2013

Today I submitted to ACF President Alan Millhone and ACF Exec Commitee members my formal agreement to keep my name on ticket for upcoming ACF elections.

I am running for position of ACF Treasury Officer & ACF Exec Committee member.

This is my first and last post regarding this subject. Below are some my credentials and campaign promises (ohh !!!). Hopefully this text will be re-published later in ACFB December issue.

I really have no idea - if there will be other candidates running for this post, but as ACF president Alan Millhone said: "as more as better !" Any competition only improves things and allow voters to choose the best candidate.

My credentials for ACF Treasury Officer post:

- 15 years professional experience in Banking industry.

My campaign program and promises for ACF Treasury Officer post:

- Balance budget;
- Keep books accurate, full and up to date;
- Produce regualar bi-annual financial reports.
- Make smart financial decisions in tough economy

My credentials for ACF Executive Committee member:

- 47 years overall experience in checkers business at events of all calibres;

Domestic experience:

17 years experience (since 1996) in Anglo-American Checkers in USA in local/state and National events;

Today I am most active player in ACF, playing annually in average 140-160 games and visiting 8-10 states which makes me very well familiar with needs of ACF as an entire organisation and ACF members induiidually;

World and International experience:

I am keeping a 3-moves World Title for more than 10 years and participating actively in International events organised by WCDF, FMJD and/or Sport Accord.

I have more than 25 years experience playing other forms of game (Russian and 10x10 checkers), communicate with players and authorities from other countries and Federations and have good relations with many top players in the World.

My campaign program and promises for ACF Executive Committee member:

- Promote checkers in USA and Worldwide;
- Increase ACF membership;
- Increase number of ACF events;
- Protect ACF as organisation and ACF members financially and otherwise;
- Raise respect to ACF among other National Federations and World bodies;
- Create and support an atmosphere of real sportsmenship among ACF players, competition and as result - help players to raise their level and compete successfully with other top World class players.
- On-goingly working on opportunity to improve ACF financial situation, funding and sponsorship.
