My thoughts and prayers are with everyone that has to deal with the devastation of this hurricane. I sincerely hope you can allmove forward soon. I personally know that it takes a few years to recover from such an event.

Thanks Danny, that is very thoughtful. We were hit very hard and there were even some casualties in my area, unfortunately. Though thankfully I am ok and everyone else I know. Only thing I lost was power for about a week.

My old son Michael (29) who resides and works in New York told me that as-of-today things are very much under control, taxies are driving, some buses lines and bridges opened. Most unconvince thing - Subway, major NYC transportation arteria, will be open after several days.

Before huracaine landed, Michael and his girlfriend bought some extra food for several days - due to electricity failure.

All buildings down 39 Street still don't have eletricity, but there is no panic, havoc and disasture.

Mother of my husband of my sister (she is 99 years old) was evacuated from Brooklyn (as most other people) and stays now in my sister appartment in Manhattan.

Hopefully this time we didn't have another Katrina. New Jersey governor did awesome job !

Danny, many thanks for your kind support. Your next prayers shall go to USA Presedential elections on November 6. America have to make a right choice ! :D

Joe, I am glad you are ok...we went through something similar here in Queensland a few years ago and it is very tough to lose people, businesses , homes and other property. I hope insurance companies there are more honest than Australian ones.

Alex, i am also glad your son is fine. i believe that the elections are very important... not just for America but the rest of the world as well. I will be following the elections closely and i sincerely hope you guys make a good choice so that we can all put this economic crisis behind us once and for all.

I am appologise for inaccurate statement. Today the total death toll in all countries exceed 150 lifes and certainly we can't call this "under control" But it would be a true to say, that people, federal government and local authorities, including National Guards did all their best to minimize possible damage and impact.

Million people are out of power and some - out of property.

We have to keep our prayers.

Respectfully,

AM
