I just heard some very sad news.. Jimmy (Oilman) passed away this morning. Do not have any details as of right now, waiting on more news. Prayers for his family please...

Jimmy had a heart attack a few days ago and passed away this morning. this is what one of his friends in Ky. told me... I always called him "oilcan" . He was a good man that helped a lot of people. He will be missed by a lot of people..

Just heard from another friend of Jimmy`s. He said he had some blockage and stent`s a day or so ago.. Lots of different information about him and I only post what they tell me...Main thing was, it was his heart....

Born December 21, 1950. Died August 10, 2013
Jimmy Reliford age 62 years of Columbia, Ky. passed away
Saturday Aug. 10, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 21, 1950 in Adair County.
He was the son of the late Stanley & Steller Loy Reliford.
Survived by one son Anthony Reliford & his wife Ashley of
Columbia, Ky, One daughter Amanda Reliford of Columbia, KY, Sister Charlene Sneed of Columbia, KY, One Grandson Jimmy Anthony Reliford II also surviving several other relatives & friends.

Jimmy was the owner of Jimmy Reliford Drilling Co. in the
Sparksville community, he was one of the stars of the Discovery
Channel television series Backyard Oil.

Funeral service Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Eulogy will be delivered by Dr. Phil Aaron, Craig Higgins & Bro. Bobby Withers.
