These were nice problems.
But if you put one in a contest, it would get more scrutiny than these will.

The birth of the idea - Position 4
Second attempt - Position 5
I had this idea while driving, had to park to work it out and send via the cell phone.
Started driving and found a better starting setup, found a public PC to post it.
Conclusion? - I am a dangerous driver

It is so annoying to keep turning each position upside down in the Aurora output, I just sent Mr. Svirin a letter with suggestions for Straight checkers modifications

Hi Jake, one of the best "how to" books on any subject IMHO is Checkers Made Easy by Arthur Riesman. This book was salvaged from obscurity by Bod Newell and Richard Pask as an early e-book from the Checker Maven. Now it reaches an even wider audience with your Online Checkers Library.

On thing I like about this book is that it has square one at the bottom of the page instead of the usual top.
I like the variety, even in this small way.
