“My Last World Title Match”- Borghetti

Post by JR Smith »

“My Last World Title Match” - GM Michele Borghetti (facebook 8/31/17)
Sergio translates it from Italian into English.

On 31st August
Friends, I would like to tell you that next match in September will be my last World Title Match. I'm a little bored. I thank all people for having supported me for all these years, especially my father Gianfranco, who has always been close to me. We keep teaching children who have so much affection for us. I have nothing more to say, except that I'm happy about this.

The 3-Move Challenge Match between Michele Borghetti and Sergio Scarpetta will be played in Italy from 9th to 23rd September 2017. Alan Millhone as referee.

Everything is clear. Is this his last word? Who knows?

Best regards
Sergio

Very pity but I agree with Sergio: "Who knows ?"
I am playing checkers, not chess.

What do you like about checkers?: I like complicated games and draw endgames with one man down

Yesterday, during the press conference, which was held in the town hall, Michele told them he would rethink about his decision to quit WTMs.

Just a quick note.

A better translation would be "I'm a bit tired" instead of "I'm a bit bored".
