Some bad news on the home front - my dear wife (for over 55 years) Catherine, passed away earlier this week.
She had been in and out of hospital and nursing homes last year. Her funeral was held today.
May she rest in peace. (I'll post obituary when available)

Catherine STEPHENS (nee Whelan) The Crescent, Lakepoint, Mullingar, January 16, 2023 (peacefully) at her home. Devoted wife of Liam and loving mother of Jennifer and Fintan; Catherine will be deeply missed by her husband, daughter and son, her sisters Maureen and Nora and her brother Tommy, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace
Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Thursday January 19, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 11.00 o'c. in St. Paul's Church, Delvin Rd., Mullingar, followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
