I just got horrible news about this, it’s happened yesterday, August 12 Monday. My great condolences to all friends and family members. Details about funerals are coming.
I am playing checkers, not chess.

This is sad news for all checkerists. Charles Walker was a long time promoter of the Grand Old Game of Checkers. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for his many years of supporting checkers, and hosting many World Championship Matches at the International Checkers Hall Of Fame located in Petal, Mississippi, USA. Charles Walker was a former president of the WCDF, and also editor of the annual Checkers magazine. RIP Charles Walker.
