ELBERT LOWDER'S HEALTH STATUS

Dear Checker Fraternity,

I just wanted to inform you that the actual timing of the initial
onset of the myocardial infarction that Elbert Lowder Lowder experienced
probably occurred on Thursday Oct. 26. He was complaining then that he
could not get his blood sugar down and that he felt like he needed to
throw up. He threw up and said that he felt better after that. He is right
near the top of the chart concerning the seriousness of the attack.
Elbert had congestive heart failure today, Nov.2,2006. Of course
this was an added setback to his recovery. I will try to keep you updated
as to Elbert's progress or failure as the information becomes available.
