This is the time of year when things are just not the same in checkers--either someone is eating all of the chocolate checkers, drinking the whiskey checkers or she is distracting him with the mistletoe she hung down from the light above the checkerboard. And then on the other hand one enjoys watching the children sitting on the rug, by the fireplace, playing a nice game checkers, as they eye their presents under the Christmas tree, so I guess all is "Noel".
