My games with Elbert Lowder.

Post by Alex_Moiseyev »

For the upcoming Jim Loy book about Elbert Lowder I had done research of all my games I played against Elbert since 1997 GA State (June 6-8 ) in Calhoun until 2005 NC State in Greensboro (May 12-14).

We played in two World Championships in 2002 - 3 moves and 11 man ballott, 4 National - 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 16 State events.

This generated in total 135 games.

Overall score with matches: 41-17-77

Score w/o matches: 23-11-52

Elbert was very active at the end of 1990's - beginning 2000's and we met many times. In the past 4 years there were only few games beside National 2004.

Respectfully,

No ! Ron King is close, but not quite ! I lost him 2 games in 1996 Nat'l (my 2nd ty).

Other 8 losses came from matches: 3 in GAYP WCM 2000 (drawn match 3-3-18 ), 2 losses from 2003 3-move WCM (I won 8-2-25), and 3 losses in 2005 3-move WCM (I won 8-3-25). Obviously Lowder is ahead with number of winning games :D

His style generated more winning chnces for both sides.

In other hands - Ron King didn't lose as many ... so far.

Alex

My total score with Ron King in matches and tournaments (both, 3-moves and GAYP): 22-10-91, in total - 123 games
