Addresses of ACF members:
Alan Millhone had 5 bulletins returned recently from ACF members. I am going to list the members and the states that they reside in. I would appreciate any one knowing their correct address to email me at mbanks36@hotmail.com.
1. Joe B. Young---Winston Salem, NC last known address
2. Phillip V. Starnes- Crawfordsville, IN
3. Q. T. East--Oak Ridge, TN
4. Dale A Hedrick-- Lenoir City, TN
5. Joe Tucker--Doniphan, MO
As everyone knows the ACF cannot waste money and it cost us 75 cents every time a bulletin is returned. I am instructing Sir Speedy not to send these members any more bulletins until I can get a correct address on these members. Thanks in advance to anyone helping us out. I wish all a Very Merry Christmas. I will certainly have a better Christmas this year as my wife came out of surgery yesterday and she is doing fine. I have much to be thankful for. Unfortunately, I will be unable to continue as the ACF secretary when my term is up but there are many talented people out there that will pick up the slack. Any one wanting a roster of the ACF members can get one from me by emailing me . You must have excel on your computer to open up the attachment that I will send to you.
All the best,
Mac

Thanks Ms. Becky,
I am sorry to learn that Phillip Starnes passed away. Phillip was a retired Navy Commander who has called me in the pass and expressed his love for the game. He and I played many games via mail prior to the days of the computer. After playing checkers for over 50 years, I have experienced the death of many of my checker friends such as Elbert Lowder and others and it is very hard to take the news that a friend has passed away. Even today, I think of the death of Keith Todd from Oneida , NY who passed away 30 years ago and Marvin Rex, who I consider to be the best ever at analyzing positions and new openings. I don't think I will ever get over their deaths but to be thankful that I knew these fine gentleman.
All the best,
Mac

Hello Mac,
I ran down the new address for
Dale A. Hedrick
275 Blackfoot Way
Lenoir City, TN 37772
I learned that a serious health problem come upon him after the TN ty this past spring and he had to move into a new home where he would not have to climb stairs as much.
Also I call Quinton East, because of failing health ( 90 years +) he has moved from his home to an assisted living facility. He told me that his apartment is very small and that he had to give up nearly all of his possessions because he has no room to store things now. He told me he no longer wants to receive his bullitin, I said well you can just throw it away after you look it over and he said he gets checker news from a friend and doesn't want the bullitin coming to his new home there, but here's his new address anyway.
Quinton East
734 Emory Valley Rd.
Oak Ridge, TN 37830
