Allegations of Cheating at Prague and Stonehaven

Post by Lindus Edwards »

Mr Alex Moiseyev has made serious allegations about cheating by certain players at Prague and Stonehaven. Suffice it to say that this came as a revelation to me and caused me quite some revulsion, since most of players are personal friends of mine. I have spoken with a number of players who participated in these events and was told in no uncertain terms that no cheating of any sort occurred at any time.
Mr Moiseyev is adamant however that cheating did occur but steadfastly refuses to reveal anything further!
Upon asking Mr Moiseyev to reveal the full facts he attempted, rather bizarrely, to suggest that I was actually helping the cheaters. But, then again, Mr Moiseyev has used these old smoke screens before - so nothing new there!

 Lindus I guess that we must feel blessed that God has saw fit to put an ocean between people who have different thoughts concerning what type of behavior is or is not acceptable on our ACF Forum. Otherwise Alex may be in need of a bodyguard--perhaps even two bodyguards. "Inky"

Lindus what he is talking about( I would assume) is the brothers agreeing to the results of their matches, just like they did in the British Open. Everyone with any sense knows they did it but how can you prove it? Now (please), just drop it we are all tired of hearing about it.

Hi Gene,
Great to hear from you. You might recall that we met at Bournemouth about fifteen years ago during the international match there. I do not wish to harp on this subject but the point I am making here - and which seems to have been sadly missed - is that a great injustice has been done to the players who did not cheat. A number of my friends were affronted by these allegations as it placed them in a bad light. I am sure Gene that you will appreciate this. Yes, I will drop the matter as it is now apparent that Alex will not divulge the names of the culprits.
Best wishes to you,
Lindus.
