The elimination of guest posters

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Mr. Edwards:

The ACF Forum was set up for the exchange of Checker/Draughts news and other pertinent game information. Also to discuss games and lines of play and diagrams. Mr. Alex has carried most of the load relating to diagrams, etc. which I totally enjoy reading and attempt to sight solve the problems. The majority are beyond my level of play but good mental gymnastics anyway:-) It would be nice if another forum member might take over the area of beginner and semi-advanced problems .

The ACF Forum has steadily gone down hill because of allowing guest posters to post. Not all were bad, but enough for Mr. Jason Solan and myself to decide to eliminate guest posters on the forum.

I am confident Mr. George Miller will once more have his BBS operational and all the anon. posters can go back there to make their postings. I stated earlier that the ACF Forum and the BBS can co-exist , but cater to two different audiences for the most part.

Jason decided to eliminate some of the guest postings and I have caught some 'flack' over this action. So from here on, let's keep things friendly and stick with Checker/Draughts related items.

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President
American Checker Federation
