Hi Patrick,
If you have the latest version of Checkerboard - CB 1.640, then under the pull down menu "Options" select "Piece Set".

Pat, I have these 8 designs for pieces in the bmp file in checkerboard. I can't remember if they came that way on the last download or maybe I pasted them from an eariler post from Forum or Martin's web or blog.
Anyways, they are: crown, embossed, kid's set, marble, smiley face, standard, stars, swirl.
Whoever made the crown set probably could emboss the crown as he did the star, then we whould have embossed crown.
This is the same thing Liam Stephens mentioned.
If you don't have these, I will gladly send you the set. Let me know.

mine only has 3 piece sets
the others were once on martins website i believe for download
