Hello Everyone:

Just got off the phone with Mrs. Walker and she told me that ICHF had been remodeled and was about complete when fire struck in tower ! Everything in main room, hall of banners, personal living quarters, apartment that their Son had,etc. is 100% gone. The meeting room at left end of ICHF and offices below sustained heavy smoke damage and will be a few more days yet before a determination is made on that area of buildings. Mrs. Walker is at her Daughter's home and has limited email access. She also did not know till I told her about the loss of Mr. Gene Lindsay and was shocked and told me that she would tell Charles the sad news. She sounded devistated and asked to be kept in our prayers for her and her family. Indicated she wants to put together a checker annual, but not sure at this point when that might happen. I am sure a card to the Walkers would be greatly appreciated.
