Ron's is-- the lower the number, the more stable the rating.

I can buy and live with this ... Ron's rating can't significantly go higher or lower, and mine - yes. Actually this is well proved by two last rating lists - one time I went down 80 points, and then jumped up 115.

In other words, if we trust RD - I am still in process of stabilizing and didn't reach my peaks

All after all ... RD column can be remain on the table, I don't care of. For me the most important and interesting information is - number of games played in processing period and progress / regress in points compare with previous rating list.

From number of games I also can see immediately - If any event/game were missed.

Positive or negative number of points for my competitors-colleagues also gives me some information.

I, personally consider RD as curios fact It is higher for players who played too much or too less games.

im mostly curious ...why rd doesnt have standards ????
unless rd means rounds
but if its a distribution variation then why is it changing?
and if it is a k factor....why is it so high?

i assumed it meant rounds

something very wrong with my RD. It's value has caused my name to slip completly off the list. I can only hope it didn't slip off the bottom side.
