What I didn't realise is that you don't get access to members profiles until you log on.

I talked to Norwood Selby today and he said ACF had squared him away and he was happy. I didn't ask if he got his checker set or got back his money. I invited him to our NC State Open and he said he wasn't all that interested in playing checkers, he just wanted the equipment? I told him I had his name on our records as a checker player and I ask if he knew anyone who played checkers around Dobson that might be intereste in getting information on what we were doing in NC with checker tournaments and playing checkers, and he said he didn't know of anyone. Nice, but short on the phone.

I think we can close the nselby thread...

Hello JR,

I want to thank you for all you do for checkers. You helped me getting the checker news out
when I was the ACF Secretary and you are continuing to do a wonderful job. It is volunteers
like you that are the backbone of the ACF.

All the best,

Thanks for the kind words Mac, my friend Clint Pickard ask about you and remembers you helping him promote checkers in the 70's

You even traveled to NC and played in some of those Nationals!
