Hi, John !

First solution is correct indeed, second - wrong (first winning move - 2-24). For my composition work I am using KRI (Kigsrow International) program with 7 pieces ending database. But today Ed Gilbert has for sale most recent version of program with 8 pieces ending database.

As far as I know - several top 10x10 players including A. Tchijov bought it. Prcie is very reasonable - little bit more than $200, but for 8 pieces 10x10 database you need more than 400GB hard drive space !

Positions, solutions and 2nd Ensdpiel World Championship (PWCE-II) results were posted on several websites, including FMJD and here http://www.ericsdamsite.com

Alex,

Many thanks. Very interesting.

I know Jaap Bus. He used to be treasurer of the FMJD.

Best wishes for 2011.

John.
