What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Thanks Liam, you are a fountain of knowledge lol (i must make sure i rent that movie again.... when reality is unsavoury we must dwell in science fiction hahaha)

Tommy some people think that talking about it is a waste of time.... i believe that surely things cannot get any worse just by talking about it. Is there anything wrong in trying to improve things?

Cheers

I would leave the last word to Taylor:

"I'm a seeker too. But my dreams aren't like yours. I can't help thinking that somewhere in the universe there has to be something better------- Has to be. "

Though, some might prefer Dr Zaius:

"Man has no understanding. He can be taught a few simple tricks. Nothing more."

BTW What "is people" ???

Don't count on it.

From my mother's sleep I fell into the State
And I hunched in its belly till my wet fur froze.
Six miles from earth, loosed from its dream of life,
I woke to black flak and the nightmare fighters.
When I died they washed me out of the the turret with a hose.

Nothing changes. We never learn.

And that's not science fiction.

Nice one Gary - ever the optomist !

But, you havent answered the $64,000 question. :)
(Hint - another Charlton Heston movie quote, and the right colour for your checkerboard.)

Sorry, Liam, I get diverted sometimes... .

The answer to the questions (both) is Solyent Green.

Indeed, Liam.
