What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Guys i want to thank you for the suggestions and tips....all comments are truly appreciated.
Thanks to Pal, Sune, the 2 Jasons, Jan, Alex, John, Liam, Jay, Josh and Ingo.

If anybody else has anything else to add please do.
Obviously i won't be able to listen or please everybody but i will seriously consider all options before i do it and once again thanks for taking time to help out.

Hi Danny, I see you have gotten a good response to this topic!...I would stick with GAYP as it is simpler to administrate....I see on the FMJD site http://www.fmjd.org/ that there is an Australian Draughts Federation, presumably for 10x10 International Draughts. Maybe you could contact them for ideas, cooperation, and recruiting....You never know what might happen, the new Pan-American 10x10 Champion is 18-year old Allan Silva from Brazil!...Good Luck Danny, and I mean that in a good way! --George Hay

Hi George Thanks for your support I have already exchanged emails and phonecalls with Mr Dimitrii Verbuk last year, he was a representative of the Australian Draughts Federation (president) .... it seems he had a fallen out with both FMJD and the ADF and now the ADF doesnt exist anymore. (its a real pity) . Mr Verbuk is based in Melbourne Victoria.

I am still trying to find a venue and i am hoping to host a tournament later on this year.... im also looking for a sponsor (which i know is very hopeful... lol)
