Hi Tommy,

I didn't get round to biking over there as we only had a few days, but if I ever go back on a holiday I would give it a go.

By the way, I heard that Sune intends visiting Killinaskully for some driving lessons! He is an avid fan of that nice man in the bowler hat and follows with interest the romantic adventures of Dieter.

I don't know what all the discussion about global warming has to do with [b:e820c719a1]SIXTH, 10 corrections in 8 months[/b:e820c719a1]
but since we are off subject I'll also get into this, just for the fun of it. :thumbright:

[quote:e820c719a1] gas guzzlers wouldnt get far over here[/quote:e820c719a1] [quote:e820c719a1]... from a world wide perspective the U.S. Gov. are not taking climate change seroiusly at all as it might cause the loss of jobs. Bush has been a stumbling block to stoping millions of tons of carbon dioxide from being pumped into the atmosphere as he has doggedly refused to budge. Thats how its portrayed this side of the pond

how many of you drive hybrid cars and use solar power, waterless urinals, eat organic food only and boycott beef

[size=17:e820c719a1][b:e820c719a1]One day Dan was gathering his cattle
Somewhere out there upon the trails,
When he came across a fella shoutin’
"Save the spotted owl and the garter snails."

The fella says, “Hey cowboy, don’t you know we have
A problem with the ozone, in the sky way up high.”
When Dan said, “I don’t even know what the ozone is.”
He was told, “Well, without the ozone you would surely die!”

So, Dan threw his leg o'r the saddle horn and listened
As this fella went on explaining as best he could,
Why all the good environmental activists
Insist beef cows are no good.

He says, “You take them Angus cows of yours
Over there eatin’ all that meadow grass,
Ya know as well as I do, pretty soon
Them cows are goin’ start passin’ gas.”

Scientists claim, we have to do somethin'
About cows and the methane they release.
They say, "Someday the total amount will be
Enough in gallons to make the heavens cease.”

"Maybe if you join me we can put a stop to
This curse brought on by cows and steers.
"I'm afraid if you don’t , the day will come
When we'll be havin' no more atmosphere.”

Well as Dan listened to this
Fella he started to visualize,
The gas from every cow on
Earth a driftin’ up into the sky.

And Dan reckoned as how there could be
Some truth in the vision that he'd seen.
‘Cuz once he spent the night inside a tent
With four buckaroos that had just ate beans.

And sure enough it weren’t too
Long ‘til the air got thick and bad,
Dan begin to think his next breath'd be his last
And before too long, he was wishing that it had.

So now Dan worries about the ozone
And the gas that comes from beef,
And even feels a little gilt,
When he finds his own relief.[/b:e820c719a1][/size:e820c719a1][/color:e820c719a1]

Nice one Pal - poetry in motion.

As a character in a Jules Feiffer cartoon remarked:
"This is sheer folk art."

thats really funny

but i was actually pointing out a real fact and i dont want anyone to think it isnt real

i dont know about cow methane......but
from birth to death the amount of pollution is there
imagine the shipping
grazing
pollution from the run off etc etc
cows r killers
and we all kill them

to anyone who says that eating or not eating beef is a part of it

when was the last time u bought leather anything

im not a real enviromentalist or anything but i do find the topic interesting and wouldnt mind breathing cleaner air

I understand you just finished ML games, thats great. Good luck with SG

Jim Loy several days ago submitted to me one more funny typo: some (not all) pages for ML has on the very first line (above text), with number of page and title of book and game code ... "WCM 2003" instead "WCM 2002" ! Amazing

Jolt, done ?

I am waiting from you to start a final compilation of all corrections. Eventually this will become a Sixth 2nd edition, or Supplementary play.

Jolt, you are in good company with Al Lyman, Richard Fortman, Jim Loy, Richard Beckwith and several other people who kindly helped me to find all bags, typos, inaccuracies in Sixth. Your name will certainly be added to "dedicated list"

One typo letter is counted as well, as error in content, many thanks for your terrific giant work.

Sincerely,

Alex

Nope !!!

We will be even only when I see a progress in your play, you start playing in real ty's and eventually become master, grandmaster and World Champ ... after I retired !

The main idea of trade is not only money. I gave you a book, and it should come back with your improvement

Again, many thanks for your help. You are a man !
