I want to improve.
And I need modern and recent ideas from practiced play not from so called "published" play, for I want to know how the masters actually do it.

What better source can I get then the games and their annotations by the World Champion ?

Grandfather and Grandson

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Mr. Alex:

I bought my copy of SIXTH for several reasons.

1. I like and want to support our 3-Move World Champion in his efforts to promote the ACF and the game of Checkers.

2. As an average player I am always looking for a way to improve my game. Book SIXTH is one of those ways to improve my play.

3. To buy SIXTH I simply skipped some large pizzas, my waistline will benefit as well in substituting SIXTH for large pizzas !

4. SIXTH is another welcome addition to my meager Checker library.

In Medina I remember several players were in the hotel lobby and my 10 year old Grandson Solomon came out of the playing room and told me he needed money to buy one of Mr. Alex's book SIXTH ! Mr. Alex inscribed the book to Solomon and it sits proudly with his other books on the game. My Daughter hopes to take both of my Grandson's to Las vegas later this Summer to enter the 3rd. annual " Arthur Niederhoffer Youth Tournament " . This would be Solomon's 3rd . event and Forest's 2nd. youth event. Hope to see many youth the week-end before out GAYP Nationals.

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President

Several reasons.
I wanted to read Alex's analysis and I try to support anyone who cares enough to write seriously about the game.
I collect books as well.

Greetings Joshua,
"So far Sixth has been great for me. Hopefully we'll see "Alex's 3-Move Encyclopedia" and "Alex's Traps and Shots" books."

Reserve for me a copy of each....!!!!
And again, great work...!!!

AGREED !!!! I also wanted to compliment the actual presentation of the "package" itself.....It does, indeed, look like it could be a college textbook. Another + for this book. Very profesionally done .
