"A Magic Initial"

Post by Mr. Checkers »

 In checkers the initial "F" does not stand for "failure". To illustrate the point: Walter F. Hellman, William F. Ryan, Marion F. Tinsley, Edwin F. Hunt, F. F. Smith, Charles F. Barker, M. F. Tescheleit, John F. Horr, champion checker players all. Perhaps some of the boys had better change their initials before the next national tournament? "Mr. Checkers"

 What can I say. My mother should have thought about that years ago. And now I know what is holding my game back. "Mr. Checkers"

 That is a very pleasant sound Alex, but it is certainly not something worth you dying for. "Felix (Note the "F") the Cat" was a world famous feline and he was also an amidexterous checker player. He could move the checkers around (or flying off) the checkerboard with the precision of a surgeon with a scapel using any one or all of his paws. Most cats love to play checkers as much as you do, but with a different motivation and strategy. "Mr. Checkers"
