Complete Oldbury Document ?

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello everyone:

Does anyone out there have a complete copy of the Oldbury document ?

The ACF does not have a copy on file ! Bits and pieces are found here and there .

I have a goal to loacate a volunteer to put all ACF papers we can locate on a disc and make several copies to be held for future preservation. Much has been lost or destroyed over the decades. This is a sad commentary for the ACF. I will ask our ACF Bulletin Ed. to run my request in our next bulletin as well.

Sincerely:

Alan if you are talking about the Oldbury Manuscript... then I can say that I did research on it in the past and Richard Fortman has a copy and Hugh Devlin. Yet I was unable to get copies out of them. Hugh was willing to give out but not willing to photocopy by himself what I do understand as I believe it is very extensive. Yet he stated that Oldbury did annoate it in his own style. Ingo Zachos who said he is used to the style of Oldbury offered to make translation into the usual annotion system. Hope that did help. :)
