My newest book, Jim Loy's Checker Problems Vol. I, corrects a few of the solutions in Gould's Problem Book. In particular:

#144 is a draw
#151 is a draw
#191 is a WW
#240 is a draw
#281 is a draw
#304 is a draw
#309 is a draw
#319 is a WW, but Dunne's WW is flawed
#426 is a draw
#435 is a WW
#437 is a WW
#499 is a draw
#552 is a RW
#553 is a RW
#622 is a draw
The solution of #628 in Gould's book begins with a White move. If Red moves first, then the RW is easy.
#629 is a draw
#706 is a RW
#857 is a draw
#883 is a draw
#884 is a RW
#924 is a WW
#987 is a draw
#993 is a draw
#996 is a WW, and the solution is shown in #997
#1009 is a RW
#1012 is a WW
#1030 is a RW
#1037 is a draw
#1044 is a RW
#1051 is a WW
#1065 is a RW

And one or two solutions are correct but the defenses should be sharper. Also, some of the results under the diagrams were corrected later on in the same book, in the later editions.
