I wanted to update you all on my progress. I went today to 3 other schools. I presented my program and I have to say I now have 4 schools getting involved.
Tuscumbia 4th grade
Russelville 4th grade
Osage 4th grade
Camdenton middle school
These schools are going to let me come in and teach whoever wants to learn checkers.
I had to stop and think of how many kids i am reaching. Sit down all, looks like around or close to 400 kids.
My schedule will start after the holiday on Jan 3rd, This is when the kids go back to school. The days I will be traveling is Monday, Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday. I will be attempting to get 1 more school involved.
I have already started my program in the 4th grade at Tuscumbia. Now I want to thank the ones who are helping me in regards to supplies. It will be a start. But there is still a need for demo boards and more numbered boards and pieces.
I will be placing pictures of the students next week on here to show you all my beginning. I just hope it gets so big I can't breath. For this is my passion.
