John, The Scottish Draughts Association held their bi-annual general meeting in July of this year. One of the matters arising was of the proposed use of the Chess Arbiter programme in future tournaments within the S.D.A. After a lenghty discussion it was agreed that Chess Arbiter would be used in the future for all Scottish tourneys. Graham Young, (without his endeavours in recent years, the SDA would probably not exist) is the licence holder for the SDA. Thank you Graham. Also thanks to Ingo Zachos for quickly ironing out a couple of misunderstood concepts of arbiter. (Translations, etc. on start up.) Bernard Coll, secretary of the S.D.A .
