I have just completed work on the 11-l5 24-19; 15-24 ballot, and in so doing gave particularly close attention to the early moves.
One of these, while giving up Black's advantage, at least appeared to offer the hope of new territory. Alas no!
11-15 24-19; 15-24 28-19; 8-11 22-18; 3-8!? 18-14; 9-18 23-14; 10-17 21-14 - clearly White has an advantage, but my no means overpowering, so 3-8 might appeal to the venturesome GAYP player.
10-15 22-17; 7-10 17-14; 10-17 21-14; 9-18 23-14; 3-7 24-19; 15-24 28-19 same!
Ah well.
Nothing new under the sun!
