Another big loss for all of us. I knew him very well and we played few tournament games. He was a good Master level player, undisputed Champion of state Texas for many years and very good gentleman. He had nice soft sense of humor and never complained or being in conflict with anyone.

My deep sympathy to his family, friends and checkers player who knew him.

Respectfully,

AM

Ed was a true gentleman. I have known him and played him checkers for over 35 years. He was everything good about checkers and sportsmanship.
I will miss the "Champion of Texas".
