The rules for 12 x 12 are the same, as far as I can determine and as everybody else on the Forum probably already knows, as those for 10 x 10, and it takes some time and a brain adjustment to get used to the dizzying power of the king and the backward jumping pieces; it's very complex stuff (at least I think so...). Here is a typical problem (one of the easier ones, I guess): black checkers on 4 and 48, white checkers on 21, 52 and 58. Les blancs jouent et gagnent!
Solution: 21-14 (48-54), 14-8 (54-60), 8-2 (60-65), 2-13 (4-10), 52-47 and it's all over.

There you have it. I don't think 12 x 12 is going to be "solved" (whatever that means these days) anytime soon. It is fascinating stuff. I can post more of the endings if anybody is interested.
