Bert Vanderpool real name was Adelbert F. Vanderpool but he went by Bert. Originally, he was
from Pennsylvania but after his wife died , he remarried and moved to Chaparral , New Mexico. Last contact
I had he was 84 years old so don't know if he is still living or not. His second wife didn't like checkers much
