It is my pleasure to post here an official announcement that my close friend in mind and just a very good man John Acker recently had successful defense of PhD dissertation in English field !

He was one out of 4 editors of my checkers book "Sixth" and it was a very good training and start of his career :D :D If you can edit Sixth - you can do everything !!!

My hot congratulations to Dr. Acker!!

I wish John all best in his professional and checkers career as well as in personal life.

BTY, when I got to the "Dr." it did cause me to cough a bit. Just saying....
But then I realized it was probably from a backwoods school in ILL. But still.... Congratulations friend!!!
