$25,000 at this year's National 3-move may be the biggest ever. The last two national tournaments in Branson have had $20,000. I believe one year a long time ago a Studebaker car was given to the winner.

Historic match Tinsley vs Chinook in 1992 had price $10,000.00. I checked in Internet - due to annual average inflation 2.23%, this amount is converted into $17,747.05 today.

If we also add here expanses for hotel, transportation, playing room, food etc - we may get total amount higher than $20,000, but still less than $25,000. Joe is best!

This is going way back deep into the ACF Forum archives, but Willie Ryan won the Studebaker in 1939. :)

Well ... $995 in 1939 is converted into $17,823.46 in 2018. Average annual inflarion - 3.72% .. perhaps due to World War II.
