Bob, I am wondering … if you plan retirement, maybe someone or group of volunteers can pick website and continue service ? It is pity to lose one more time some nice checkers activity and strength.

Bob, congrats on 7x2 years of the Checker Maven! Thanks for keeping us sharp, and challenging us so we don't get complacent!
But most of all, thank you for spreading happiness and good cheer to the checkers world!

Bob,
Your flawless management and direction of the Maven through 14 years under all kinds of conditions is an inspiration to me. My tenure as an editor has been less than half as long, and I have missed a couple of deadlines already.
Brian Hinkle’s Coffee and Cake masterpiece was a brilliant Anniversary Award to you. The fact that Brian chose to enter it in your column, rather than in a contest, demonstrates the value of your efforts.
Thank you, Sir!

I am no Pask or Moiseyev, but I've been reading the Checker Maven for 11 years. I've spent hours there at a time.
