11-15 22-18; 15-22 25-18; 12-16 24-19; 16-20 18-14?? etc...

Re: Quick win v intermediate Chinook
This goes back to Tom Wiswell's Checkers In Ten Lessons. In Lesson One, Wiswell gives an example of an unsupported piece on 14 with "11-15, 22-18, 15-22, 25-18, 8-11, 18-14 (this loses now but would draw against 12-16.),..." Later in lesson two, Opening 1 "Old Faithful", Variation 2, Note C, Wiswell comments in part, "18-14, 9-18, 23-14, 10-17, 21-14 is a more open game and is preffered by some for that reason." This is reinforced in Lesson Four, "Old Faithful" No. 29, Note B with the comment "if 12-16, 18-14." It looks like Intermediate Chinook surprisingly waited one move too many to play 18-14. Of course Intermediate Chinook could still loose with the transposition 3.12-16, 18-14; 4. 9-18, 23-14; 5. 10-17, 21-14; 6. 16-20, 24-19??
In response to 6. 16-20, Checkersland responds with 29-25.
