Paddy Doyle - Ireland
18th August 2019 - Paddy died peacefully at St. Francis hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, Paddy won the Dublin Draughts championship numerous times and represented Ireland in International matches over the years. I believe he also took part in every Irish championship since they were inaugurated in 1977.
His funeral was held on 22 August with a large attendance including members of the Irish Draughts Association - Bill Dobbins, Joe Maguire,
Frank Moran, Sean Phillips, myself and several others were present.

John Morgan - Wales
I was informed by Lindus Edwards that John Morgan passed away on 15 August.
John was a good friend, and an active player and organizer of Draughts events in Wales for many years.
I'm sure many will remember all the excellent tournaments in Knighton he promoted over the years.
He also served on the Executive committee of the English Draughts Association.
He will be sadly missed.

Farewell old friends - may they rest in peace.

Liam Stephens.
