Today's (Jan 25, 2020) Checker Maven (http://www.checkermaven.com) column presents an in-depth exclusive interview with Alex Moiseyev. Alex was gracious and generous with his time and gave us his thoughts on his upcoming 3-move championship match and unusual insights into his checker playing career, beginning in the former Soviet Union and continuing through today.
I hope you'll be able to find a moment to read what Alex has to say.

Bob, That certainly is a fine edition of The Checker Maven. It would be worthwhile for future historians of the game to review it. Almost as interesting as the text, are the photos of leading players who are mentioned. The image of Elbert Lowder is almost presidential.. it brought back old memories of my games with Elbert and our lighthearted conversations between rounds.
