It is my honor and pleasures to make an official announcement that we recently voted unanimously in WCDF 6-0 to award Alex Holmes by WCDF International Master title based on his performance in 3-moves WQT 2022. Alex finished third behind two grandmasters - myself and GAYP World Champion Matteo Bernini but ahead of two other grandmasters: Lunabalo Kondlo and Richard Beckwith.
Alex already has title ACF Master (MS) according ACF rating list and won many States tournaments and finished second in ACF National 11-man ballot 2021 (behind world champion) and played World Title Match this year in February.
Me and WCDF Executive Committee congratulates Alex with outstanding performance and wish him best in his journey and career.
