Hello everyone:
I had left Mr. Les Balderson in charge of the GAYP Club and with his passing their has not been anybody to take over those duties.
The other day I had a phone conversation with Mr. Michael Stewart of Hernando, Ms. and Mike is very much interested in taking over and promoting the GAYP Club ,etc. He has some good ideas and I think he will post sometime after this posting to let all of you know who he is,etc. Many of you already know Michael:-)
I asked my Exectutive Committe aobut him and all were in favor of his appointment. GAYP is very important to Checkers as well as 3-Move . As it is all Checkers/Draughts.
Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President
American Checker Federation

Re: ACF has a new GAYP Club Director
Sounds like good news
Do great things Michael
Michael
Im really pleased to hear that Michael is still going strong in checkers. He will be a fine director, i met him in Vegas at the only National ive played in America. In fact he was my competitor and i had him in a win, but i unfortunately touched a checker without thinking , before moving, and of course i had to move it after that, the game ending in a draw, but he was a good friend to me while in Vegas, and im very appreciative of him

Hello Jan and John,Matthew,
Thank you All for the kind words.
John, you and I were the only ones writing down our moves in that
tournament.
Jan,I hope to play you again in the future and maybe if I am
really really lucky I will win a round
HA
I enjoyed both your and Johns friendship at the national.
Matthew ,hope we can together increase GAYP play in the great
state of Mississippi.
