1. 9-13 24-19 2. 11-15 28-24 3. 6-9 22-18 4. 15x22 25x18 5. 9-14 18x9 6. 5x14 24-20 7. 8-11 29-25 8. 11-15 27-24 9. 15-18 32-27 10. 1-6 26-22 11. 4-8 22x15 12. 7-11 30-26 13. 11x18 20-16 14. 6-9 16-11 15. 8x15 24-20 16. 15x24 20-16 17. 12x19 27x20 18. 18x27 31x6 19. 14-18 6-1 20. 2-6 1x10 21. 9-14 10x17 22. 13x29 heres the problem

after that jump the book gives 24-20 3-8 20-16 8-12 16-11 12-16 11-7

anyone know what should be played or what happened here in the book

It's that way in the 1934 and 1945 editions.
Bad Willie!

Looks like a failure to set up the pieces correctly at some point in the transcription process. The position looks like a draw if the piece is on 20 or 24.
